Chair makeover

Yesterday afternoon, I got my sewing machine and made this cushion for this chair. I saw it in a photo from a book I have, did turn pretty good, specially for being "my first cushion", won´t be the last.
I did half of the green seating cushion pad, by hand in this lovely striped material. I like the way it looks!! so proud of myself, ja, ja... (being positive with me for a change)

Este es uno de los lugares favoritos de my marido. Stoke Gabriel es encantador pequeño lugar.

Stoke Gabriel Church. / La iglesia de Stoke Gabriel

When the tide is out you can walk to the other side. / Cuando la marea esta baja se puede pasar al otro lado.

The children love "crabbing"... then they relise the crabs back into the water. / A los niños les encanta coger cangrejos, luego los devuelven al agua.

This is called the "vinegar Bible", because there was an error in the printing and it say "The parable of the vinegar" instead of "the parable of the vineyar". This bible is inside the Church./ Se llama la Biblia del vinagre porque hubo un error de impresion y en lugar de poner "La parabola del viñedo" pusieron "La parabola del vinagre"

This is a very curious trunk, it was in somebodies garden, it even had a little door. I thought it was diferent!! / Este un tronco muy curioso, estaba en el jardin de alguien, incluso tenia una pequeña puerta. Pense que era diferente!!

My friend Bry

I just love this photo of my friend Bry, he did it having fun with a radio shutter release. He says he was inspired by Avedon's self-portraits in 1950's Paris.
My friend Bry is very talented!!!, he is a PPA Master/Craftsman portrait photographer that lives in Utah. If I was in there... I surelly would ask him to do my family photos... I love his style!!! It has been already 15 years since I know him... and he was always taking photos with his camera then. I am so happy to see how well he is doing with his "hobby" that has become his life. And above all he is a perfect gentelman.
Go to his website and you will see more of his work. I really like the children photographs he makes.
He is an artist!!! If you ever need a quality and unique photograph and you live in Utah... call Bry Cox.

Bry, you are FANTASTIC !!!!
