Paignton

I will  post about some of the places we visit from time to time. Today Is about Paignton.

 With its famous steaming train that takes you to the lovely town of Kingswear where you can take a little ferry and visit Darthmouth, one of my favourites towns around here.

 

 I saw this bench in the back garden of one of the houses by the beach, I thought "it´s different, but its nature and simplicity makes it very nice".

 The little harbor in Paington is so lovely with the tide going and comming and there is always some movement  going on with fisher man going or comming back or people just going into the see to have some activities.. it´s very entretening just watching there.

 The Pier. Is in the centre of the beach, it has many atractions for entertainment and has nice views of Torbay.

 I found fascinating to see how people decorate their homes inside and outside.

My Girl´s birthday

I took the children for a horse riding class in the morning, then came back home and finish the decorations for the day. She had her internet class and the teacher was lovely with her. After we went to collect two friends who she calls her "adopted sisters" one is 17 and the other 14 and she adores them. I took the girls and my Boy to a carvery for dinner. Then came back home and eat the cake. The grandparents from England where with us.

She had a few birthday cards from family and friends . She was pleased about it!! She loves post!!

Found these old style scales in the big recycling centre in town where they also sell second hand stuff. Love it !!!!! Do you like going to the car boots, flea markets, recycling centers? What do you find there? I am looking for going next time and hopefully find some nice old furniture to restore.

Bird Show

Went with the children to see a bird show. The kids loved it!!! The Owl was huge and sooo beautiful !!

A bit from the sea...

My 10 years old daugther found this shell on the sea shore and we always collect little shells and stones when we are by the sea. This time my daughter painted some flowers on the stones with acrylics and then sprinkled glitter on them before the paint was dry. I sprayed the whole thing with gloss spray. I have it in my bathroom. I love it!! So simple and cute!!
